With the little bit of cash I had left, I picked up a mining beam today. Seems like a good way to get my start out here in Evochron. At the station I took a job of clearing a trade ship path by destroying a few asteroids. It all went well except once. I had my IDS off so I was still drifting forward as I shot at the asteroid, so when it finally blew, I was to close to the explosion and huge hunks of rock smashed into my hull. You live, you learn I guess... Now for the repair bill...
